The next highlights are:

10. Kayenta

On our route we just planned a one-day visit at the Grand Canyon to continue the trip for a overnight stay in Kayenta. Who is interested in a dam should consider to go the long way round to Page to see the Glen Canyon dam.

11. From the Monument Valley to the Natural Bridges and Goblin Valley to Hanksville

Starting from Kayenta you will reach the famous Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park. The rocks that are known from many western films can be seen miles before. There is a 17 Miles long “Scenic Drive” where you can drive through these rocks and stop whenever you want to take pictures.

Passing the mexican hat we went north to Hanksville. A nice place to stop are the Natural Bridges:

Another very bizarre landscape can be seen in Goblin Valley. The round rocks look very funny and I think it is worth to go there if you have enough time to go back to Hanksville.

12. Bryce Canyon National Park

One of my favourite place is the Bryce Canyon National Park. I really recommend to go there because you can do several hikes through these red coloured rocks. If you have enough time you really can spend 2 days there to experience the landscape.

13. St. George

St. George was another stopover city on our way to Las Vegas.
