The last part of our roadtrip leads us through the desert and further national parks back to San Francisco

14. Las Vegas

After driving and hiking the last days Las Vegas is a great place to relax in on of the nice hotels that are very cheap as the expect their guests that they spend all their money in the casinos. It is a really crazy town that has to be visited at least once…

15. From Death Valley to Lone Pine

Depending on the time you spend in Death Valley you can stay overnight in Lone Pine to go the Sequoia Nationalpark on the next day.

16. Sequoia & Kings-Canyon Nationalparks

In the Sequoia & Kings-Canyon Nationalpark you can see the huge trees and the never ending forest. We were not lucky with the wheather, so that we decided not to stay longer here – it was terribly foggy and we even could not see the end of the trees.

17. From Fresno to Yosemite Nationalpark

The Yosemite Nationalpark is very popular as it is only a few driving ours away from San Francisco. Here you can also spend several days for hiking and walking.  However staying overnight in the Nationalpark is not very cheap´.

Our last stop is San Francisco where our road trip started.

Summary:

Our Roadtrip was an amazing experience with a lot of different impressions. We drove nearly 5,000 km and spend a lot of time on the road – but we think that is what a road trip should be like 🙂
